HEY NINETEEN!

Okay so I had the camera ready when Isaac woke up. He came in the room and I started clicking. Then he said, "mom do not put that on the blog." I said I wouldn't...I lied.

April 23 Isaac turned 19. He is set on a mission and in the process of filling out those papers. James (center picture) is his favorite friend and just an extra brother around the house.

Happy birthday Isaac and WELCOME TO NINETEEN!

PIANO RECITAL

Asa loves music. He is a gifted musician. This is just the beginning...

GIFTS FROM THE EASTER BUNNY

The Planet Earth arrived in our Easter Basket yesterday morning. Well, 3 volumes of the amazing BBC production. We watched the first volume last night. Two questions

How did they do that? and What was God thinking?

You absolutely must see The Planet Earth!

POSTED IN THE KITCHEN

Each of us is connected to a cosmic umbilical cord, receiving spiritual nourishment from God each moment. Yet in slavish dedication to the dictates of a fear-based ego, we resist the elixir of divine sustenance, preferring instead to drink the poison of the world. It's so amazing that we do this, given the extraordinary pain that underlies so much of daily living. Yet the mental confusion created by our dominant thought forms is so intense, and we are so trained by the world to do fear's bidding, that deliverance comes at most in flashes.

Can you imagine a brain that thinks like this enough to translate the thoughts to paper? Only in a world that belongs to Neal A Maxwell maybe.

Except Hamilton doesn't get it...but then he's ten.

EASTER SUNDAY

This talk by Elder Jeffrey R Holland during the Sunday morning session of conference was mesmerizing. It was as if time stopped while we listened to his message. You can read it here or go here to find the entire session.

From our family to yours we send out Easter Blessings. May you reflect on the joy of the day and may it bring peace to your soul.

Love to all!

AND THEN ISAAC CUT HIS HAIR

After growing his hair for more than a year it was time to get it cut. Lots of reasons - he was tired of it always on his face and neck, he's getting ready to send in the missionary papers, the soccer coach wanted him to cut it. So there we go, Isaac's got a new doo!
